  29. I just got done setting up my two Amigas and two PCs network. This was an 
  30. incredibly NASTY experience. 
  31. If you go with Windows NT 3.5 on the PC then you already have TCPip built in. 
  32. For the Amiga I have AMITCPIP 4.0 demo (couldn't get any others to work).

  34. >From lightwaves standpoint you will not be able to load an object from the 
  35. amiga. You will have to copy scenes over to the PC and probably edit the scene 
  36. file ( Amiga uses / ) ( PC uses \ ) This won't be too tough since you can load 
  37. the scene file into any text editor.

  39. The main reason to go with Windows NT is LONG FILENAMES! When I used to run 
  40. imagine on the PC / Amiga I hated renaming my objects.

  44. So for PC Lightwave it will be very compatible. Not sure about AREXX macros.

  46. Once you get the TCPIP network running I suggest WS_FTP32. This is a graphical 
  47. front end for the transfers. Almost OPUS. Only PC version though.
